whenever people ask me about my accomplishments, and how i was able to get this, or achieve that, i always hit them with the same answer every time: “i’m just a lucky guy.” but as expected, this is typically met with something to the tune of, “c’mon, you probably worked hard for it,” to which i’ll respond once more with, “luck, my friend.”
most people think of luck as some sort of miracle, akin to a pot of gold appearing out of nowhere, with great fortune falling upon your lap. my definition is totally different.
to me, luck is simply the existence of opportunities that are able to be capitalized on. thus, per this definition, luck should be incredibly abundant at every hour of the day. you just have to, both literally and proverbially, wake up and open your eyes to see it.
